Regular Monthly Meeting of Llano Master Gardeners

Welcome to our guest speaker this evening, Linda O'Nan, who took us through making a living succulent wreath using many of the plants that are readily available in our climate. With regular care the beauty of this wreath can be maintained for a long time. Our thanks to Linda for a great presentation.
The minutes were presented as being available on line.
Treasurers report was given by Dwight, who stated that only half the membership have paid their dues for this year, the rest are now overdue! IRS now requires us to submit a form to them, as a non profit organisation,though we will be well under the ceiling for any payment to them is due.

Sign up sheets were out for members to volunteer for. Set up the day before at 6.oopm.

Clean up duties after the show
The raffle prizes will be two Mexican pots, and various door prizes will be drawn for throughout the morning.
Timi and Celia report that their nurseries have currently or will shortly have a selection of onions, potatoes, tomatoes and other vegetables with herbs and other bedding plants, soils and mulches available for purchase.
Bylaws
John gave an overview of the updated version worked on by Dwight, Sandy and himself. Dwight read the highlights of the missive and then presented it to the floor for ratification. After being proposed and seconded the document was accepted by the general membership.
T-shirts were on view, choices of colors and sizes available, with a sign up sheet for purchase.
Dave demonstrated the Q&A board for the L&G show.
Mulch for project gardens is now available for use.
Presentation of the Bent [ Golden] shovel was given to Inell Franks.
Monthly Team Project was cancelled.
Meeting closed at 7.00 pm.
