Regular Monthly Meeting of Llano Master Gardeners
Thursday, May 15, 2008; 5:30 p.m.

The minutes were read and accepted.
Johnny Sawyer has agreed to be our new treasurer. We need two members to audit and look over the books,update the list of paid up members etc. Sherry volunteered.
Lawn and Garden show committees will be headed up by Sherry and Johnny Sawyer, to set up speakers and solicit donations.
Heritage Day committee will be organised by Sandy to decide what we are selling. Proposed that we make a calendar with garden related seasonal topics. Celia, Lillie, Eva, Sandra and Jo Ann will work on this.
June's meeting will be a canning and preserving topic, presented by Timi.
Norm presented the treasurers report showing an ending balance of $1519.85.
This month's "Do you know Jack" quiz was dedicated to Lillie Baker.
Tentative date June 21st for the Rose Arbouretum and Malcolm Beck!!
There is a possibility of getting weekly garden tips into the Llano News, Celia will look into this.
